The ground floor features a regal foyer with French doors and windows, a library with four walls of built-in bookshelves, and a guest bedroom. A chandelier-lit spiral staircase leads to the second floor, and a fourth-floor rooftop overlooks the moat-like pond that sits on the edge of the property. Maria Videla-Juniel, who designed the primary bathroom of the main house, also devised a welcoming entry to the Gate House. A Thibault wall covering graces the entry, and a Fibreworks runner leads guests up the stairs. Hand-painted floors were the jumping-off point for designer Amy Peltier’s soothing primary bedroom design.
